      Summary

      New users cannot see in-app message which was sent from Adium/Pidgin containing a web link.

      Environment

      Windows client 4.29

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Open Pidgin/Adium
      2. Send a message to a user you've never talked to containing a web link in the first message
        The new user on the other end is using HipChat for Windows client.

      Current behavior

      User receives the message notification, but the in-app message isn't there.

      Expected behavior

      The message with the link should be appearing for the user.
