      Summary

      HipChat clients are unable to recognize and convert some relatively complex or obscure URLs.

      Environment

      • HipChat web client (HipChat Server v2.0.6 and v2.0.7; HipChat.com)
      • HipChat for Mac v4.29
      • HipChat for Windows v4.29
      • HipChat for Android v3.16

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Copy and paste each of the following links into HipChat: 
        rdar://7777777&8675309
        rdar://7777777

      Expected Results

      Both of the URLs will be fully recognized as hyperlinks.

      Actual Results

      The URL containing a special character (such as &) is only partially recognized as a hyperlink.
