As an iOS HipChat user, I would like notifications in sync with the app when I open it so that I can instantly see which room I need to jump to

Often times, I will have a pile of push notifications waiting for me if I've been away from my phone for a while. If I open the HipChat app, those notifications are cleared but there is no visual representation of them in the app itself as I might see when I have the app open. This is a problem if I have quite a few different people I need to get back to because I may only remember seeing one person's name in my iPhone notifications area. What I would like is to see the number of unread chat messages next to the chats I have open as soon as I open up the app. This way I know which chats I need to open and respond to even if the notifications have been cleared.
