Mac Client Not Scrolling Properly

Summary

When returning to a conversation and there's an image preview on the chat, the screen will not scroll automatically to the end of the conversation (latest post).

Environment

OS X 10.11.6
HipChat 4.28.1.718

Steps to reproduce

1. Send a few messages on a room
2. Send an image
3. Send a few more messages
4. Open a second conversation
5. Return to the first room and note the autoscroll not scrolling to the last message

Expected Result

The autoscroll should automatically set the chat screen to the latest message.

Actual Results

The chat screen ends up some amount above the latest post, generally seems to be about the height of the image. User will need to manually scroll down to see the new messages.

Workaround

Manually scroll down is the only workaround at this moment.
