Hipchat needs the ability to have ad-hoc conversations with multiple people that doesn't require setting up a room.

I understand a Room could be created for this, but it's clunky to have to name a room, put in settings, and then you have this fixed room in place where really all we wanted was a quick chat with multiple people.

This is currently the number one reason that people on my team are still using Skype and Hangouts, and it's killing the case to make Hipchat our single tool.
