HipChat Windows: JIRA Notification Displayed as html Message on pop-up

JIRA notification displayed as invalid html message in Windows client

Environment

• HipChat Cloud / Server / Data Center with JIRA integration setup
• Windows Client 4.30.5.1672

Steps to Reproduce

• Ensure that the Show a popup is checked on the Windows client
• Trigger any notification that is listed in the HipChat integration page on JIRA side:
  
• Observe the pop-up notification that will appear on the bottom right corner of the screen

Expected Results

A normal JIRA notification is received.

Actual Results

A JIRA notification is received, however the notification turns to broken html and displayed as below:
