Linux client doesn't detect any keyboard input from fcitx

Environment

• Linux 4.27.0.1658

Step to reproduce

1. Install Fcitx framework
2. Set it to PinYin input (chinese)
3. Type in HipChat
4. It won't convert it to chinese character

Expected Results

The input keyboard should convert into chinese character

Actual Results

Any keyboard input is not convert to chinese character
