Description
Currently, the message is only shown on Work Mode. There is no way for a user to know in Plan Mode if the Query Result Limit has been exceeded.
See screenshots. First shows that there are > 5000 issues on this board in mapped statuses. Second screenshot shows that only 8 issues are shown on Plan Mode, with no messaging.
Possible Effect:
Some issues may be missing and unable to be filtered by Quick Filters as Quick Filters only filter based on the issues on the board(not the actual filter). Thus, user might find some issues not appeared in the backlog even filter out using quick filters and will caused incomplete sprint planning.
Plan
- Display some message on plan mode when the limit is in effect
- In configuration note that only this configuration item applies to the new boards as well
