Got excited when I read the last comment about something finally happening in a DC app only to realize it was an entirely different app So, Atlassian, we know now that it's possibly to use this standard attachment option in a form - just get someone to look at how it's done and implement it, please.

We’ve started using one of the new form apps released for Data Center - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1227085/smart-forms-for-jira-works-in-jsm-jwm-jpd-confluence?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview&utm_source=Atlassian_Community&utm_medium=refferal&utm_campaign=Article_Dynamic-forms_20250211 it supports attachment fields and works well overall. We had already used it on our cloud instance, so it was great to see it arrive on DC. There are still a few features that haven’t been rolled out yet (like external form sharing, which we've been really hoping for), but according to the team, that’s coming later this month. So far the rest of the functionality has been solid, and support has been responsive and open to feedback.

Keep this request alive and let Atlassian know how important it is to have this feature, which is already ** available in Cloud, also available in Data Center installations.  We are not giving up until you do it!

Hello Atlassian 

I recommended using forms on a Software project to provide more guidance for the ticket creation process and cannot really believe that there is no option to upload attachments. Of course we can use comments, automation, ..., to request documents and these can easily be uploaded in the ticket for licensed users but this breaks our initial goal of having a smooth process. 

In contrast to Cloud, we actually pay extra for this app in DC and hence, I would appreciate this feature being made available in the DC version.

Please implement this functionality.

The #1 complaint I receive about every form I build for our Service Management projects is:  "Can we please move the attachments field to the bottom of the form?"

I then need to explain to them "No, we can't, because our form solution doesn't offer an attachments field and I need to use the OOB one, which can only appear above the ProForma form."

They don't like it.  This would be a great enhancement to add!

is there any timeframe on when this will be implemented? We are waiting for this functionality since we first tested ProForma back in 2021..
Since this feature was released to cloud almost one year ago, we (paying DC customers) are hoping a release is imminent!

Any feedback will be very much appreciated.
