Problem Definition

Currently Global Permissions are only inherited by users from their immediate groups. Users in groups that are nested within other groups do not inherit permissions from the parent group.

Suggested Solution

Allow users in nested groups to inherit permissions from parent groups.

Why this is important

Simplifies permission configuration, reducing the number of configuration changes needed to assign permissions to multiple nested groups

Workaround

Manually assign permissions for each nested group.
