Summary

Commit messages that contain Umlauts are being displayed incorrectly in FishEye, within the Activity Stream and in the Activity tab for the commit on the repository page.

Steps to Reproduce

The problem occurs when initially adding the repository with a wrong encoding. Every change afterwards only changes the encoding of the file contents but not the commit messages.

Expected Results

Commit messages display the Umlauts correctly.

Actual Results

Random ASCII characters are displayed instead of the desired Umlauts.

Workaround

Re-add the repository with the correct encoding setting in FishEye.
