Description
In FishEye/Crucible it is possible to set the file size limit to be indexed in the repositories configuration (see screenshot). However, these limits are only applied to Subversion repositories.
For example, when indexing a file around 100MB the following message is logged for a Subversion repository:
2013-02-13 09:45:54,319 INFO [InitialPinger2 std-layout] fisheye RepositoryConfig-isOfIndexableSize - [std-layout] trunk/megafile.txt@36 exceeds indexing size limit (100M, limit is 5M). The c ontents of this files won't be searchable in FishEye or viewable in the user interface of FishEye or Crucible, and it won't count towards line of code counts.
While for a Git repository, nothing is logged.
In the UI, the same file can be seen in two different ways:
It would be more intuitive to have this option removed from the repository settings for all repositories but the Subversion ones.
