With the new FishEye / JIRA integration we use a JIRA issue pattern to detect issues that have to be linked.

While this has the advantage of being very fast and not consuming a lot of resources words that are not issues can be linked mistakenly (eg: UTF-8). This is a known limitation that should be documented in the JIRA Integration in FishEye page.
