Jira and Confluence have adequate LDAP support for user authentication. It seems as if fisheye is not using this implementation. In particular, the option to do an incremental sync is missing. It is unclear why fisheye has other requirements than jira and confluence, such that a different implementation is necessary; there seem to be only disadvantages.
