I browse some directory (screen shot 1), filter by author (screen shot 2) and then hit "show/hide empty" (screen shot 3). You'll notice that gruden2\judy is now gruden2%5Cjudy - this is != to the intended user filter and until this constraint is removed all commits will be hidden.
