On the admin screens for clearcase repos, you can add branch inclusion and exclusion rules. In the dropdown list the same branch is listed multiple times, probably once for every VOB in which it is defined.

This functionality should be improved to either:

• add the VOB name to the item in the drop down list. If you want to include/exclude a branch in multiple vobs, you have to create an include/exclude rule for each of the vobs.
• as above, but add a 'for all vobs' item for each of the branch names.
