Improve email notification handling for commit comments with newlines

      Attached is a screenshot of a FishEye notification email. Note how the text in the subject line is all mushed together.

      Could subject lines either have everything following the first newline stripped, or could they have their newlines replaced by spaces?

      (The first suggestion would be my preference.)
