    Description

It would be very nice to be able to NOT have to have FishEye run in its own JVM. Ideally, it would be great to be able to run FishEye in the same JVM as my JIRA and Confluence. This means the ability to DISABLE the stand-alone server mode, and run inside tomcat.

Each JVM takes considerable memory for each JVM. On my amd64 box, the FishEye JVM is taking 168mb memory (resident). Most of this is not FishEye, but the JVM overhead itself. If I could run this inside an existing JVM, I could cut down on the number of JVM's running, and thus memory usage. Additionally, I could then access this via. tomcat's AJP 1.3 interface, and use mod_jk to access this from Apache, like I do the other Atlassian products.
