Parent field can't be pre-filled in AP.jira.openCreateIssueDialog

      Issue Summary

      When using AP.jira.openCreateIssueDialog, we’re able to pre-fill issue fields, as documented here. We use it in the app Deep Clone for Jira, when using the Create and confirm option, which will open a new pre-filled “Create issue” dialogue for every issue being cloned.

      In particular, when cloning an issue with an Epic, we were able to pre-fill Epic Link in the dialogue.

      Now that Epic Link is deprecated and Parent should be used instead, we need to be able to pre-fill the parent field instead.

      This is reproducible on Data Center:  (no)

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. From the Connect application use: 

      AP.jira.openCreateIssueDialogto open Jira Issue dialog with pre-filed parent field

      Expected Results

      The parent field should be pre-filled by AP.jira.openCreateIssueDialog

      Actual Results

      The parent field is not pre-filled by AP.jira.openCreateIssueDialog

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
