[CWD-960] Increase ATTRIBUTEVALUES.VALUE size from 255 for more complex object filters

If you need more complex Object Filters in Crowd. uou can alter the table to VARCHAR2 (4000) however we recommend upgrading to Crowd 1.5.1 by using a fresh installation with a new database and restoring from an XML backup of your current Crowd installation. This should result in an ATTRIBUTEVALUES.VALUE column size of VARCHAR2(4000).

Is it safe to just ALTER the table with a larger size? I'm amazed that a password change email can't exceed 255 chars. Where's the usability in that?

When are you planning to release 2.0? This issue is proving a hurdle for integrating Crowd with their AD.
