Replicated with user's configuration using Co-pilot. JIRA was running on the same machine as Confluence and Crowd (all standalone). Increased crowd-ecache.xml to hold 500000 objects in memory and gave 14400 seconds to idle and live. Initial login for all users takes approximately 15 seconds or greater. User Browser is initially slow but, once cached, seems to work. Caching for the JIRA application may not be behaving as expected. Confluence had no problems using the SSL enabled Active Directory via Crowd.
[CWD-763] Crowd client libraries for JIRA using AD with SSL enabled are unacceptably slow.
