Hi Team,
Some of our most security concerned users would like to hide the Crowd version from anyone accessing our software.
This was possible before Dragonfly Project disabling JIT compilation of JSP files, following this KB how do i remove crowd version and build information from the footer.

Suggestion 1: Create a property to change how the version is shown from None, Major, Minor, Patch, Build

Where:

• None: no version is shown
• Major: Just the major version is shown, ie. 6
• Minor: Show Major.Minor, ie 6.2
• Patch: Show Major.Minor.Patch, ie 6.2.0
• Build: Current mode, ie. Version: 6.2.0 (Build:#2194 - 2024-12-17)

Suggestion 2: Change the default mode to Major.
