In September 2023 Google made an announcement that they would be deprecating authentication of third party apps into Google Workspace accounts using username and password. Username and password authentication is the only available option when setting up a mail server in Crowd, so customers would no longer be able to integrate their Google Workspace Gmail mailboxes with Crowd.
Customers likely expect to be able to integrate with the most commonly used email clients.
