Actual Results
The text such as "Name", "Username", "Email", and "Status" in the table header in the main content area fails the minimum color contrast ratio i.e., 4.5:1.
- FG: #7A869A
BG: #FFFFFF
Ratio: 3.7:1
The placeholder text such as "Add users..." in the input field in the main content area fails the minimum color contrast ratio i.e., 4.5:1.
- FG: #7A869A
BG: #FFFFFF
Ratio: 3.4:1
The text such as "no options" or "loading" that appears after typing something in the input field in the main content area fails the minimum color contrast ratio i.e., 4.5:1.
- FG: #999999
BG: #FFFFFF
Ratio: 2.8:1
This will make it difficult for people with low vision and color blindness to read standard text elements that have insufficient contrast.
Expected Results
On all pages, ensure that each foreground/background color combination presents a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for standard text.
A color contrast analyzer can be downloaded from Color Contrast Checker - TPGi
