Issue Summary
The focus indicator of the "Save" button in the "Attributes" and "Applications" tab sections has an insufficient contrast ratio.
Note: Same issue repro for Insufficient color contrast for focus indicators of user interface controls in 'Group to be authenticated' page.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the Edit user page
- Navigate to the "Save" button in the Attributes" or "Applications" tabs
- Use any color contrast testing tool to check the color contrast
- Observe that the color contrast between the focus indicator and the adjacent color is insufficient
Screenshot
Actual Result
The focus indicator of some user interfaces with background/foreground color combinations has an insufficient contrast ratio.
The "Save" button in the "Attributes", and "Applications" sections has insufficient contrast ratio and "Add groups" in the Groups section with foreground #015FCC focus indicator color has a color contrast ratio of 1.2:1 with #0165FF inner background color.
This will make it difficult for people with low vision and color blindness to identify the focus indicator for the user interface controls that have insufficient contrast.
Expected Results
The contrast ratio between the foreground color of the focus indicator and its background color should be sufficient.
Ensure that the color contrast of the focus indicator for all user interface controls is 3:1 with the foreground and background colors.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
