Disable 'autocomplete' on the Create New User field on Crowd

    • 2
    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

One of our customer's request is to disable the auto-complete function on Crowd at least while creating a new user to avoid creation of duplicate users on Crowd across all the directories. This is because the current implementation of Crowd(due to limited possibilities with the external directories) maintains username uniqueness across a given directory alone and not all the directories.

With the auto-complete ON, the admins sometimes accidentally end up creating users with similar usernames and they would want to restrict this action and let the admin(s) manually type in the username to maintain the uniqueness across directories.

      Kind regards,
      Venkat

When can we expect this fixed? I just used time AGAIN to fix a duplicate user because of this...
