      Issue Summary

As a customer, I would like additional confidence that future versions of Crowd are regression tested using the latest compatible version(s) of Microsoft's SQL Server JDBC driver against Crowd supported platforms of Microsoft SQL Server.

[CWD-5734] Test Crowd with compatible version of Microsoft's SQL Server JDBC driver

            Dear Atlassian Team,

if JIRA,Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo smoothly implemented Microsoft JDBC driver and got rid of problematic and buggy JDTS open source driver long time ago ....

            https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-39556

you should dare and include this into next version of Crowd. Otherwise your customers might think that the Crowd is not maintained well.

I hope that Atlassian is fully committed to deliver secure and compliant solutions in their all supported products (mentioned JDTS driver does not allow secure db connection to MSSQL server or is unstable)

            Best Regards

            RS
