There are situations such as user rename, which won't be handled correctly if this option is not set.

Also it doesn't sound natural that we do authentication with the remote, yet we are not allowing to synchronize the details.

 

Additionally in products there should not be such an option as well. Also option for copying users on login, should be on by default and removed from the UI.
