      Summary

Delegated LDAP directories do not have a 'Test' link to test authentication, compared to a directory connector.

      embedded-crowd-admin-plugin 2.1.5

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Follow this guide: Connecting to an Internal Directory with LDAP Authentication
      2. Save and Test the directory
      3. Confluence displays the following message:

        Connection test successful.
This only tests that the server is reachable and the credentials supplied are valid. You can perform more extensive testing after saving the configuration, from the 'test' link on the browse directories page.

      Expected Results

From the User Directories screen, you should be able to 'Test' authentication

      Actual Results

No 'Test' link is shown for delegated directories

      Notes

You can always just test the login by placing that directory in the top position, and going to the Confluence login page from a private window. If the test button is not going to be added, we should remove the message for users configuring a delegated LDAP directory.
