Confluence is currently using Atlassian User 0.X, once Confluence moves to 1.X we will have to change the current integration libraries for Crowd.

Bamboo is already using atlassian user 1.x so we will need to rename the atlassian-user-bamboo-integration to crowd-atlassian-user and crowd-atlassian-user to crowd-atlassian-user-legacy.

And from here update our docs for Bamboo and Confluence to reflect the versions supported by atlassian user pre and post 1.0

ie. Confuence 2.5.x and Bamboo 1.1.x (and earlier) use crowd-atlassian-user-legacy, Confluence 2.6+ and Bamboo 1.2+ use crowd-atlassian-user
