      Even after following https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWDKB/Change+password+email+have+wrong+base+url, changing all the following files, and restarting the server, it still is sending emails anchored at http://localhost:8095.

      $ find /opt/atlassian/crowd/ -name crowd.properties/opt/atlassian/crowd/etc/crowd.properties
      /opt/atlassian/crowd/crowd-openidserver-webapp/WEB-INF/classes/crowd.properties

            As in The crowd.properties file, you should set a new property of crowd.base.url with the URL you wish to appear in reset email.

            Actually the file to edit is /var/crowd-home/crowd.properties, but even after editing that one, here is what I observe:

            • If I change application.login.url, then nothing seems to change (emails still say localhost:8095).
            • If I change crowd.server.url, then I can no longer log into the Crowd admin console (and hence I can't trigger any password reset emails...not to mention I can't log into the Crowd admin console!).
