For the purposes of an audit or similar activity, the ability to create a read-only account would be very useful.
Workaround: Provide an XML backup of your instance and create a local copy.

In our organisation, the support team is responsible for creating user accounts and manage groups. We had to give them full administrative priviledges, which is not secure as they can change directory or application configuration. Actually it happened once that someone changed an application password instead of a user password !
A more fine-grained control over administration rights would be useful and highly appreciated !
