Let's just get away from HSQL all together and move to H2:

            • H2 provides proper transactional support for tests (HSQL does not do)
            • H2 allows easy implementation of an in process server, allowing external JDBC connections
            • HSQL 1.x and 2.x are almost completely different products, with no clear upgrade path

The hang during setup does not happen anymore in Crowd 2.7.2, even without the MVCC. It was fixed by CWD-3768.

However the build is still red. HordeConcurrentClientsTest.testShouldAttendManyConcurrentClients seems to be crashing Horde consistently.
