    • Affects Version/s: 2.3.4
    • Component/s: Performance, User Console
    • None
    • Environment:

      Crowd Standalone, JDK 1.7.0 64-bit, Windows Server 2008 64-bit, IE9

    • Severity 1 - Critical

The problem occurs when i try to access the administrative interface:

      1. On the server I open IE and type the URL: http://localhost:8095/crowd. I get the login screen.
      2. I type the admin username and password.
      3. When clicking login the computer freezes, and sometimes I get errors from Java.

In the task manager I can see that one of the Tomcat instances uses nearly 100% of the CPU resources.

This problem occured when Crowd was installed as a Windows service. Running it from the .bat file in a console window worked fine.
