      It seems that Crowd and possibly other Atlassian products are affected by:
      https://hibernate.onjira.com/browse/HHH-2645

      This can cause Crowd to eat up a large amount of CPU, with threads being blocked by a method in the Hibernate class EntityModeToTuplizerMapping.

      This is possibly related to CWD-2054.
