Setting a group from LDAP directory as inactive does not work (adds an empty description attribute)

• Add an ApacheDS LDAP directory
• Add a group to the directory
• Load the group again
• Untick the "Active" checkbox
• Click Update

Expected: I don't know what is supposed to happen on the LDAP server.

Actual: An empty 'description' attribute is added to the group LDAP entry. The page reloads and it still says that the group is active.

Note:

• If I try to the uncheck again and click update an error message is shown on the page (notice the missing substitution string):
