Problem Description
The current Requests page is missing several key usability features that make it difficult to manage and navigate requests efficiently. Specifically, it lacks:
Advanced filters on the requests table
- Ability to filter by type, status, and shared with.
Search functionality within the table
- No way to quickly locate a specific request by keyword or name.
A polished and consistent request view
- Spacing, typography, and layout issues make the interface feel cluttered and harder to read.
Without these capabilities, reviewing, organizing, and finding requests becomes time-consuming and less intuitive.
Why This Is Important
Adding these improvements would provide several benefits:
- Improved efficiency: Filters and search would significantly reduce the time needed to locate and manage requests, especially as the number of requests grows.
- Better user experience: A more polished and cohesive layout enhances readability and reduces cognitive load.
- Scalability: As users handle more requests, robust filtering and search tools become essential for maintaining workflow productivity.
- Accuracy and control: Being able to narrow down requests by type, status, or sharing details helps users stay organized and ensures nothing important is overlooked.
- Professional appearance: A clean, well-structured interface increases trust and satisfaction with the product.
