      This High severity Improper Authorization vulnerability was introduced in version 4.9.0 of Crucible Server.

      This Improper Authorization vulnerability, with a CVSS Score of 8.2 and a CVSS Vector of CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:N allows an unauthenticated attacker to gain unintended access and can lead to the exposure of resources or functionality, possibly providing attackers with sensitive information or even execute arbitrary code which has high impact to confidentiality, low impact to integrity, no impact to availability, and requires no user interaction.

      Atlassian recommends that Crucible Server customers upgrade to latest version, if you are unable to do so, upgrade your instance to one of the specified supported fixed versions:

      • Crucible Server 4.9: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 4.9.11

      versions 6.2.x prior to 6.2.3, an application is possible vulnerable to
      broken access control when it directly uses the AuthenticatedVoter#vote passing a null Authentication parameter.
