Description
It would really be nice if a REST API function could be created that accepts as input a JIRA issue and then replaces the "Create Issue" link on a review Comment with a link to the passed in JIRA issue.
Basically, this proposed API function would provide the same functionality as a Comment's "Create Issue", the only difference is that the Jira Issue has already been created and thus is passed in via the API. Crucible takes this JIRA information, and replaces the "Create Issue" link with a link to the specified JIRA issue. All ofther functionality associated with this link should also be there as if this Issue was manually created from within Crucible. What I mean by this is that the status of the issue is displayed in the review comment link. This linked issue also shows up in the "Issues Raised From Comments".
Again the functionality being requested for this new REST API function should be pretty much idential to the manual "Create Issue" functionality. The only difference is that the API function is providing to Crucible the already created JIRA Issue.
Like other REST API methods, this method would also need to allow for removing the link as well: GET, PUT/POST, DELETE
Having the "issue" link on a comment and in the "Issues Raised From Comments" section is very nice. Creating a review comment link to a JIRA issue via a Rest API function would be a wonderful enhancement.
