The reviewers' statuses aren't changed. Their statuses remain as Completed and they still have the tick on their avatars.

Note
The issues is reproducible for pre-commit reviews only. It works fine for post-commit reviews and even when author adds changes via "browse changesets" to pre-commit review it changes the statuses.

Work around
Add a comment and mark it as Defect
