Activity Stream Filter doesn't filter on committer or branch

If you click on the filter link/checkbox, and then enter a committer name or a branch name

1. The autocomplete fields don't work – they don't give you any options
2. If you explicitly type in a name, it isn't saved and isn't used to filter the activity stream
