Description
Reviewing Confluence documents is a powerful feature in the Atlassian suite but in its current form it really can only be used by those who can understand wiki text. There are several improvements that could be made in order to make Confluence document review accessible to Confluence users who use the Rich Text editor.
- Add ability to view diffs/comment on rendered content in addition to diffs in the wiki text.
- Add integration of review functionality already in Confluence with Crucible assuming that both products are present. (linked issue has some ideas but that integration can go deeper). I'll refrain from designing this but I'll say that the integration in its current form is not incredibly usable by anyone other than a developer due to the complexity of adding items into a review and keeping them up to date.
- Add hooks into Confluence to update active Crucible reviews with the latest published version of a file. This is possible and done often for other SCM e.g. SVN hooks.
- Add ability to get at Crucible reviews of content from that content in Confluence. At the very least, active reviews.
