Description
The new completeness statistics in Crucible are really useful, but marking them as percentage complete gets confusing when this value is "100% complete". When it says 100%, it appears with a green bar that looks like the reviewer has actually "Completed" the review rather than just having looked at each file.
This is misleading, I think, and it confused me as an author/moderator who didn't actually create the review and I closed the review prematurely.
As for suggestion solutions, I can see a couple:
- you could make it clear that this isn't completeness of the review, but the number of files reviewed - e.g. "100% of files reviewed"
- you could make the percentage artificially lower – say 95% complete – until the reviewer actually completes it. Only once the reviewer is really complete would this say 100%.
Of course, there may be another better one.
