When a customer is purchasing Crucible (and has an older version of FishEye and the software and maintenance has expired) they do not need to purchase the latest version of FishEye.
In a current situation, a customer has a working older version of FishEye (that was purchased from Cenqua). The software maintenance (updates) has expired. They are still using FishEye because of there perpetual license and are not considering purchasing the software maintenance package or renewing. They would like to buy Crucible and run it with the "old" version of FishEye (which they have tested and say it works using the evaluation copy of Crucible). Although Crucible comes bundled with the latest version of FishEye they still can use the older version.
Please provide documentation to internal sales group regarding how this will be handled. If they are allowed to use older versions of FishEye we may want to specify up until which version and/or any other conditions.
If possible, please provide this information to the sales team at sales-team@atlassian.com. We also may want to put it in the FAQ section.
Thank you in advance.
