Issue Summary

Customizations applied to the Navigation Map macro are not functioning as expected. Instead, only the default theme is displayed.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a page in Confleunce.
2. Insert Navigation Map macro .
3. Provide the Navigation Map theme to the filename you created under <Confluence_Installation_Folder>/confluence/WEB-INF/classes/com/atlassian/confluence/plugins/macros/advanced/navmap-mytheme.vm

Below is a screenshot showing the customized Navigation Map theme working correctly on 8.5.0.

Expected Results

The customizations applied to the Navigation Map themes should reflect as per the custom VM file provided.

Actual Results

• Only the default theme is displayed.

• The customized themes are not applied, even though the same VM files are placed in the correct folder.

VM files used for testing:  

navmap-mytheme.vm

Screenshots are attached to demonstrate the behavior in 9.4.1 and 8.5.21, where the issue is reproducible.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior.
