Problem Definition
Confluence defines an upper limit of 50 threads when configuring the following two system properties related to indexing:
- index.queue.thread.count
- reindex.thread.count
There are Confluence environments that may benefit from increasing the number of threads beyond this upper limit; and it can be beneficial to reduce their reindexing times.
Suggested Solution
Introduce a new system property to increase the max number of threads allowed.
Environments without the new property will still be restricted by the default 50 thread limit. Those who set a different upper limit in combination with the existing properties may use even more threads.
