NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
We should improve the content excerpts or summaries used throughout Confluence. The summaries in the recently updated list include unescaped wiki markup and additional backslashes.
In Confluence 2.6, the comments in Recently Updated have erroneous backslashes. The first comment "Great!" was added using rich text and NO carriage return at the end of the line. Note the erroneous backslash to escape the exclamation mark. The second example "Spunky" had a carriage return at the end of the line, note the erroneous double backslash in the screenshot.
The recently updated list can also include !image! markup, as well as dropping some text if it includes certain punctuation.
