      Atlassian recommends that Confluence Data Center and Server customers upgrade to latest version, if you are unable to do so, upgrade your instance to one of the specified supported fixed versions:

      • Confluence Data Center and Server 7.19: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 7.19.26
      • Confluence Data Center and Server 8.5: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 8.5.12
      • Confluence Data Center and Server 8.9: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 8.9.4
      • Confluence Data Center and Server 9.0: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 9.0.1

      The National Vulnerability Database provides the following description for this vulnerability: An issue was discovered in Bouncy Castle Java Cryptography APIs before 1.78. An Ed25519 verification code infinite loop can occur via a crafted signature and public key.
