      Issue Summary

This is reproducible on Data Center: Yes

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a External directory/ Edit an Internal directory (mark editable = true in atlassian-plugin : ref pr: https://stash.atlassian.com/projects/CONFSERVER/repos/confluence/pull-requests/34529/overview
      2. In the Edit view you will be able to "Enable Nested Groups"
      3. With this you should be able to add a "Group" inside another Group.
      4. In the Group search bar for Add member, searching for a group should result in finding the group with the feature enabled.

      Expected Results

      1. We should be able to search other groups in the Add member search bar in Group edit page.
      2. The group to be added once found should be able to be added in the Parent Group

      Actual Results

We are not able to search for the group and hence not able to add it.

      Workaround

For Internal Directory: disable the "Edit" functionality, sample pr: https://stash.atlassian.com/projects/CONFSERVER/repos/confluence/pull-requests/34529/overview

For external directory there is no workaround.
