CamelCase page titles should be tokenised for search index

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      In our wiki, we have many camelcase page names. When I use the title search feature, the search only retrieves a page if the entry matches a camelcase page title exactly.

      For ex, if I search for title:camel, the page named "CamelCase" is not returned.

            I was bitten by this many times.

            After we migrated some content from our old wiki which used to use camelcased page titles, it is now difficult to use search effectively for these pages.
